Harry is one of Remploy’s most experienced Disability Consultants with over 30 years working in the field of disability.  During this time he has been employed in residential work, managing community enterprises, as project lead with Social Services and, for the past 15 years, a wide range of roles for Remploy.

He qualified with a combined Hons. BSc at University of Sheffield and has an Open University Diploma in the Health & Welfare sector.  He is a qualified practitioner in Diagnostic Profiling, Advice and Guidance and is an NVQ Assessor.  In 2007 he qualified in Dyslexia Awareness and has since gained considerable experience in dyslexia vocational evaluation, including providing commercial services in this area to organisations such as BT. He is part of Remploy’s national dyslexia team and delivers training in this area.

As well as people with dyslexia Harry has considerable experience of working with individuals with other specific learning issues, such as ASD, and dyspraxia. He is a qualified Mental Health First Aid Trainer and developed considerable experience over a long period of time working with people with a learning disability. He is a qualified TAP trainer.

His professional memberships include the Dyspraxia Foundation, National Autistic Society and the Dyslexia Guild.

Harry lives in Bristol. He enjoys hill walking and studying local history and loves to visit the Highlands and islands of Northwest Scotland.
