I have been delivering MHFA since 2012 and have built up a wealth of experience delivering tot those working in FE and HE education settings in South Wales.
Current and Previous Work Experience:
Senior Disability Coordinator, University of South Wales (current)
I deliver MHFA training as a part of my role at USW. Substantively I lead and manage a team of 3 Disability Coordinators which coordinate the day to day deployment support staff. My role holds management responsibility for our 60+ Non-Medical Help support staff including Note-takers, Practical Support Assistants, Electronic Note Takers and Specialist Mentors.
Mental Wellbeing Mentors’ Coordinator, University of South Wales
Responsible for the recruitment, induction, development and line management of the Specialist Mentors whom provided one to one interventions to students with mental wellbeing needs

Working within the Disability Team I supported students with mental health needs to overcome barriers to accessing the university environment and enabled them to better manage their own wellbeing.
